

Hello, I'm Rob Dominguez, a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. I have been in practice since 2010 helping individuals, couples and families work through a variety of concerns. My work is grounded in the passion for helping others achieve their full potential and well-being. My practice style is grounded in the belief that you have the tools within to address whatever issue is causing an imbalance in your life.
With over 10 years as a counselor in an education setting and over 5 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I help people navigate stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more. I recently retired from my education profession and now devote all my time to my counseling practice. My goal is to build a genuine connection and be someone you feel comfortable turning to as you move toward the life you want.

Hello! I have experience working with adolescents and adults using a variety of therapy techniques in individual and group therapy sessions. I work with a variety of treatment modules including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, existential therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. I have worked extensively in crisis experience and with clients in crisis partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive out-patient (IOP), and in school settings.
I try to be relatable, respectful, and at times transparent. My journey to becoming a therapist gives me perspectives that allow me to connect with a lot of different people from diverse walks of life
I have experience working in the mental health inpatient setting where I treated clients experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, behavior issues and difficulty in communicating within the family unit.
Therapy with me will be collaborative and supportive. My priority is that you will learn and grow the skills needed to challenge your negative and anxious thoughts and to help you adjust to life transitions.
