Hello, and welcome. My name is Dr. Teresa Serrano, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) providing counseling services in both English and Spanish. I have over ten years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and a Doctorate in Social Work from California Baptist University. I am currently continuing my professional development to further expand the services and support I provide to my clients.
Teryn Leaper has a Masters in Counseling
Psychology from Mount Saint Mary's University.
She is currently board certified with the BBS in
California and BHEC in Texas.
Teryn has been spent the last decade in Los
Angeles and has been living in Texas for the last
year. Outside of work Teryn likes to read, write
short stories and poems and knit.
As a dedicated professional, I embrace an inquisitive approach to our journey together, constantly exploring new ideas and encouraging you to ask questions. My goal is to empower you to discover your strengths and push beyond your limits. I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone, fostering growth and resilience along the way. With a strong emphasis on open communication and unwavering support, I’m here to guide you, ensuring you feel confident and inspired as we embark on this transformative experience together!
Pleasure to meet you! My name is Iffy, and I was born and raised in Nigeria. After working in a Psych ER for over 22 years, I decided it was time to be able to treat my own patients. I went back to school and graduated from Brandman University in 2019 with my nurse practitioner degree. Four years later, I love what I do and the patients I treat. I truly believe that with the right work, tomorrow is always capable of bringing you a smile.
Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage and self-growth. Whether you’re seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, healing from life’s challenges, or navigating complex relationships, I offer a supportive and collaborative space to help you move toward greater balance and well-being. I recognize that today’s world presents unique stressors—financial pressures, rapid social changes, and the emotional weight of current events can all impact mental health. Therapy can be a grounding space to process these experiences and rediscover a sense of hope, purpose, and empowerment.
I genuinely care about the people I work with. I became a therapist later in life to give back after my own healing journey transformed me and my marriage. Clients describe me as compassionate but direct. I will go in the trenches with you, hold your hand, address what’s keeping you stuck, and help you create real, lasting change. My greatest reward is seeing clients step out of survival mode and into self-trust, peace, and connection.
