Hello! My name is Dee, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Arts in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University and a specialized Mental Health certification from Lamar University. I have over seven years of experience Couseling in school settings with students who have special needs, as well as over two years in private practice supporting individuals and families.
In my practice, I work with clients experiencing adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, and family challenges. I strive to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I’m passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, life challenges and transitions, identity, grief and loss, and relational challenges with compassion and practical support. I utilize evidence based treatment depending on your needs and treatment goals. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with eight years of experience in community mental health in Oklahoma, where I provided individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention. I hold a BA in Psychology from Harding University and an MA in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. Before returning to the U.S. in 2023, I lived abroad in France and North Africa for over seven years, an experience that deepened my understanding of culture, transition, and resilience.
I work with people who are used to handling things on their own but are starting to feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or mentally drained. From the outside, things may look fine, but internally it’s getting harder to keep up the same pace without feeling it.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston. I’ve worked across both medical and behavioral health settings, so I’m comfortable navigating real-life situations and helping you get clear on what’s actually going on.
I’m lighthearted and easy to talk to, but also direct and intentional. I don’t overcomplicate things, and I pay attention to what matters.
Hi! My name is Lenaida "Lennie" Rodriguez. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I work with children ages 12+, teens, individual adults, couples and families. Some speciality areas are couples work, grief and loss, substance abuse, perinatal mental health. I am bilingual and have a deep passion for assisting in enhancing the lives of others and empowering them to identify their strengths to overcome their personal obstacles.
I am originally from the Rio Grande Valley and moved to San Antonio to pursue my education and identify other areas of self growth. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-San Antonio in Psychology. I continued my education and obtained a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, swimming, baking, and working on creative projects.
As a certified school counselor, teacher and a licensed professional counselor, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in one’s life. I’ve been working with children and adults for 20 years, advocating and improving the mental health of children and adults. In the last five years I have shifted my focus to clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression and families who are in crisis.
I rediscovered my passion for psychology and counseling during COVID and returned to school to redirect the course of my life in my 40s. Now, I specialize in helping others navigate major life transitions and learn new relationships with their emotions and mental processes.
