I am so happy to meet you and look forward to working with you. My approach as a Mental Health Clinician is warm, empathetic, compassionate and affirming. I have had over 30 years of experience in the field of Mental Health and substance use treatment. I have worked at Women's Recovery Association with women and children. Many years in School Based Counseling and individual counseling.
My goal is to empower people to look at the bigger picture of what is possible for them.
Hi, I’m Danielle Roxborough, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of Love is a Verb Counseling. I work with couples and individuals through a trauma-informed, relational lens because I believe relationships are where we experience both our deepest wounds and our greatest healing. My work integrates the Gottman Method, attachment-based therapy, EFT and DBT skills, and I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals and partnerships. I’m also a certified Fair Play Method facilitator, helping couples build more balanced, collaborative partnerships at home.
As your therapist, I will support you through this phase of exploration, growth, and healing. "When you can't look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark." I offer a safe and welcoming space rooted in compassion, curiosity, and humor to support healing past wounds, develop care and compassion for yourself, and free yourself of limiting beliefs.
I am passionate about collaborating with diverse populations and young adults to enhance capacity for self-insight and foster personal growth. My role is to assist in overcoming any obstacles that are hindering self-esteem and healing. I welcome authenticity, and aim to foster a relationship where you feel safe to be yourself, and let go of perfectionism.
I’m a licensed therapist with a background in working with adults navigating anxiety, relationship dynamics, and the long term impact of growing up in environments where emotional needs were not consistently met. My work is informed by attachment theory, neuroscience, and relational psychotherapy.
Clients often come to me when they feel stuck in patterns they understand intellectually but cannot seem to shift in real life. This might look like overthinking, people pleasing, difficulty trusting themselves, or repeating the same relationship dynamics despite wanting something different.
I have a particular interest in helping clients develop self-trust, emotional clarity, and a stronger sense of identity. My approach is grounded, direct, and collaborative. I am not a blank slate therapist. I am engaged, thoughtful, and willing to say the thing that helps you see yourself more clearly.
Welcome to Bright House Therapy, LLC. My name is Virginia Sanchez, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with several years of experience working in LGBTQIA+, Grief & Loss, Bipolar, Trauma, ADHD, and Autism. I have worked in several different settings; supporting families involved with the Department of Children Services, assisting creating and following through with routines for adults with special needs, developed and ran LGBTQIA+ groups for parents of LGBTQIA+ youth, and provided support to Veterans through the Veteran Crisis Line.
I entered into this field to help individuals to learn, grow and heal at their own pace. I fundamentally believe that we are the experts of ourselves and our experiences. My role through my education, learning and experience is to support clients’ in unlocking their awareness of patterns to increase the clients’ ability to access the tools within them to facilitate their learning, growth and healing through a collaborative process.
As a Black/African American woman, I am passionate about working with people of color (especially people of color who identify as LGBTIA+) in destigmatizing mental health in our communities and identifying how systemic racism/systemic oppression affect our mental health.
My strengths as a therapist are rooted in fifteen years of experience working in the field as a mental health clinician in a variety of settings. I have supported individual’s ability to access their inherent tools to overcome struggles connected to trauma, grief & loss, depression and general anxiety. Over the course of my experience I have developed skills in providing therapy to underrepresented, underserviced families, children, individuals, and couples. I also have a wealth of experience supporting youth involved in the juvenile justice system, oppositional teens, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
